Help reduce pet overpopulation with
The California Pet Lover's License Plate
Proceeds provide funding for spay and neuter
programs across California.

Join the California Veterinary Medical Board, Petco, the Humane Society of the United States, ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, PETA, the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, the Millan Foundation, Found Animals Foundation, and thousands of pet lovers in California in helping launch the new California Pet Lover's License Plate program.

The California Pet Lover's License Plate will provide a large scale, permanent funding source for spay & neuter programs. These free and low-cost programs are desperately needed to help address the unnecessary killing of so many dogs and cats in California.

The plate declares "SPAY & NEUTER SAVES LIVES", reminding other drivers to do their part in the fight against pet overpopulation.
Our Public Service Spay-Neuter billboard was prominently displayed on the I-15 @ Hwy 74 for 10 months, thanks in part to the generosity of Lamar Advertizing. Please donate to FTAspay so we can re-erect our billboard and inform people of the importance of spaying and neutering.

On Jan 5, 2013, FTAspay held its second $10 microchip clinic at Pattie Robertsí grand re-opening of Save The Animals Now horse
and farmed animal sanctuary.  A good time was had by all at this beautiful new facility.  Thank you, Pattie, for inviting us.  Please
support her work to help animals in need.  And Thank You to the 50 pet guardians who microchipped their four-legged companions,
ensuring a safe return should they become lost.  Our next $10 microchipping clinic will be announced soon.
100 Pitties Fixed! was a huge success. A very warm Thank You to the ASPCA for their generous grant, making it possible. Sincere thanks, too, to Tya Henderson, DVM, Mike & Cat at the Laundered Mutt, our wonderful volunteers and staff. My biggest Thank You goes to the 100 pittie people who spayed and neutered their dogs, and the 40 pittie people still on a waiting list. Your decision to not breed saves the lives of countless dogs already looking for their forever homes.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our 2-day Vegan Bake Sale was a wonderful success. Huge Thanks to Kristin Lucero Forister and the Inland Empire Vegan Meetup group; the beautiful Viva la Vegan Grocery, vivalavegangrocery.com; All of the Above Cafe & Bakery, alloftheabovebakery.com; and the many home bakers that donated delicious cruelty-free baked goods. We raised over $1000.  That's a whole lotta cookies    Your generous contributions will go a long way to assist people with the financial expense of spaying & neutering their pets. The Goal:  A No-Kill Society, where all dogs and cats have loving homes.

A good time was had by all at Dogtopia's annual charity dog wash, benefitting Veterans Moving Forward.  Many Thanks to Patrick with Dogtopia for inviting us to participate.
FTAspay is very grateful to Lake Elsinore City Councilmember Daryl Hickman and the Riverside Transit Agency for the donation of a beautiful mini bus.  We will use the bus to transport dogs and cats for spay/neuter, as a service to pet guardians.  The bus will also be used for long-distance Rescue Missions, transporting dogs from high-kill shelters in Riverside County to rescue groups in the Great Northwest, where lifetime homes are waiting for fabulous dogs.

Claim Jumper Kitty with her Person

During the summer (2013), the FTAspay board met for a dinner meeting at Claim Jumper restaurant in Corona.  This beautiful kitten was hiding in the bushes.  Being the animal people we are, one of us just happened to have a cat trap in the car.  We set the trap; and before we finished eating, Voila, we'd caught ourselves a kitten.  One of the servers took her home -- got her spayed, of course -- and they lived happily ever after

Many thanks to Country Kennels in Murrieta for allowing us to microchip dogs and cats on their property today (they have an awesome doggie waterpark on site that you just need to take your dogs to). Also, thanks to all the awesome dog and cat guardians who came out to get their babies chipped! See you at the next one!
